The MFHL introduces new players to ice hockey, and helps more experiences players sharpen their skills. Players are expected to read atleast 4 age appropriate books from our "Skate and Read" list during the season. These books are available at the Nevins Memorial Library and at the rink during certain sessions. Holiday "Skate and Read" cross-ice tourney, 22 hours of on-ice instruction, cross-ice games, team jersey, and April "Skate and Read" party included!

PROGRAM SCHEDULE (Subject to Change)

Session Dates: March 18th - April 24th
Tuesday and Thursday Afternoons4:00pm-5:00pm 
MHS Ice Rink


REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Each player needs hockey full gear, which includes:
• Hockey skates
• Hockey shin pads
• Hockey socks that go over the shin pads and attach to the cup/supporter shorts worn under the hockey pants
• Cup/supporter/Velcro "garter" to hold up the hockey socks
• Hockey pants
• Hockey shoulder pads
• Hockey elbow pads
• Hockey gloves
• Hockey helmet with cage or face shield
• Hockey stick
• Personal water bottle with name clearly visible
