Is your child ready for the next step of independence?
South Shore Safety and Methuen Parks and Recreation are teaming up to bring you the Home Alone Safety & Street Smarts class! This interactive program is designed specifically for students in Grades 4-6 to build the confidence they need when they're on their own.
From kitchen safety to handling a knock at the door, we cover it all in a way that’s "serious business" but totally fun and engaging!
Your child will learn how to handle a variety of situations, including:
- Food and kitchen safety
- Choking rescue on themselves and others
- Basic first aid
- Handling emergencies and unexpected situations
- Coping with fears
- Basic street smarts and self-defense techniques
- The safety responsibilities that come with independence
This interactive class is serious business, but we make it fun and engaging. Your child will leave feeling prepared and ready for more independence. Register today knowing you're child will have the skills needed to be independent when they're alone at home.
